Most municipalities now have a bylaw that prohibits the insertion of anything between the valve and the back-flow device in a back flow prevention installation. ProActive Water Solutions posts this bright yellow notice on every one of it's installations. This notice is intended to prevent accidental tampering with the installation that may violate the bylaw.
