Murray brings extensive experience in plumbing and backflow prevention services to his position as Vice President of ProActive Water Solutions. He is a certified Cross Connection Control Specialist, licensed Master Plumber, and registered Plumbing Systems Designer with over 23 years of experience in backflow prevention. Murray’s technical skills associated with drinking water protection and plumbing combine with his dedication to client success to keep the ProActive team at the leading edge of all backflow prevention and plumbing-related developments in Ontario.

Murray also holds a number of key positions with water protection organizations including: Director of Ontario Backflow Prevention Association (OBPA) Ontario Backflow Prevention Association, member of the Cross Connection Control Committee of the Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA) where he is Chair of the sub-committee responsible for developing the National Surveyors Certification course. This course establishes the minimum standards and expectations for all certified Canadian cross connection surveyors. He is also member of the Ontario Ministry of the Environment's Cross Connection Control Working Group.
